solo play Q

Hi all,
New to the forums, just discovered this site from the TMP page.
A little about me, I've mostly been into mini games, rogue trader warhammer 2,3, and hundreds of other skirmish games.
I dabbled a bit with rpgs waaay back in the day, mostly MERP and some WFRP.
What I am really intereted in doing right now is introducing my wife to rpging, well rpging lite. We played a ton of neverwinter nights on the pc.
I was wondering if the WB system would be able to be used semi-solo, that is her with as pc, and with me a pc/npc to help her along the game.
Most of the sessions would be short with more hack and slash dungeon crawling, no time for long games anymore.

I recommend starting on a higher level then - maybe 2nd or 3rd. Or hiring more NPCs.

We never had a problem with even beginning players handling multiple characters, as long as they weren't multiple spellcaster characters. Our players could easily play 3 to 5 fighters in a game, or perhaps a cleric & 2 fighters.

I would actually recommend she have 2 characters so the action doesn't end if her 1 character bites the dust.
