Paper is neat!

Postby Tatem » Sun Jan 30, 2011 10:18 am

What an interesting concept www.stormthecastle.com/index.htm this is. How awesome, making minis out of paper. I have been making failed attempt after failed attempt to make inexpensive minis. I tried wood and clay. I just could not get it them to look right. For awhile I thought I was a total failure, until now. I feel like such an arse. Card board and paper how about that. Mini scenery made from card board and paper.

Not only is this cheap but totally simple. Draw what you want to make, cut it out, and glue it together. How wonderful. HURRAY!

Here is another free website that can help you draw those things you want to make as minis. autorealm.sourceforge.net/ this is also great for making fantasy maps and all kind of things. Free is such a wonderful concept.

Thank you for your time.

Darn, my carefully guarded secret is out! Time to reset the traps and replace the missing guardian monsters.

There's a collection of paper minis at www.onemonk.com

I also made a collection at www.apolitical.info/webgame/heroes/ , of characters in the style of the webcomic The Order of the Stick.

Yeah I stumbled onto onemonks website they are cool. Those other ones are cool to. I found like fifteen websites with free minis which was very cool. I love it and am going to try my hand at creating some of my own. I will be posting all of my stuff for free once my buddy decides to finish building my website. :D
