This one makes me suspect I might have missed an editorial comment when putting in the changes in this area. I am terribly inconsistent with periods in lists and tables, and the class descriptions were meticulously edited. There's no way Vicki would have missed that.

Archmages was deliberate; I don't like the (correct) use of "magi" as the plural because it sounds too Christmas-y. I claim poetic license on this one.

Mistakes anywhere in the class descriptions are really bizarre - that area went through the whole set of editing, unlike areas such as the wilderness encounters that I added into the soup later on. Typos in the class descriptions managed to survive two automatic spellcheckers and three human readers. It's like Jurassic Park - "nature will find a way."

(this and the other few posts with minor typos listed deleted, because they gave the incorrect impression I was criticizing rather than trying to help)

The first two mistakes are the fault of layout. "Undo" is a harsh mistress at times.

It is worth mentioning that I am not easy to work with, and gave Chuck probably a full set of revisions that normally wouldn't have been made in a normal layout process. I nosed into that process much more than is par for the course. I wouldn't have done that if it weren't rules that are referred to a billion times more than a module, and it was worth it, but I really ran Chuck ragged. He's a hero, and the end result of his work is obviously blowing people away, judging by the fact that everyone is raving about the book's appearance.

So, any layout errors should take into account that he was operating under the severe disadvantage of having the author buzzing around all over the place with constant suggestions and revisions. :D

This one's funny.

Page 35, 2nd paragraph, upper-left corner: "When your character has accumulated enough experience points to reach a new level, you will roll another hit die and add that number to the character’s hit poings."

Hit... poings? Heh. :)
