Looks like everybody got good rolls for starting gold. I'm flat broke, ha! No worries, I think it suits my character.

Yes, you may hire hirelings! Feel free to use the hireling generators, too! There are a couple out there.

My 90 starting gold is pretty much gone, no hirelings for this dwarf right now! :D

As I am waiting to hear from one more player, we will kick off tomorrow, just in case. But no later than tomorrow evening.

Just to keep this moving...Darius will wait for Sorga, nursing his drink but putting on a robust display of frivolity. His manner is that of a Silly Ass. He'll talk with locals about their concerns. Once we've had a chance to chat with Sorga and learn what he can tell us about the old mountain fastness, Darius will retire to the private room requested of the landlord and use Detect Magic to aid sorting the contents of the old chest.

Once we have an idea where we are going, what gear we have, and what we might need for the journey, Darius will seek to hire men-at-arms and perhaps a porter or two for our gear, finalize our equipment, and plan to set out for the mountains on the following day.

-- I may be scarce this weekend. It's my birthday and the birthday of one of my boys. I have relatives coming in from out of town so I'll be entertaining them. 8-)

No problem. I have been dragging a little so that everyone can say/do something until we get out in the sticks, at which time I believe that the game will flow much faster.

I'm a little unsure of the sequence of events and our present location. Sorry.

I can cast Detect Magic on the lot. I was still waiting, in character, for Sorga to arrive, assuming we're still in the common room -- not a private place wherein we can examine everything at leisure.
