Demonspore: Secret of the Shrooms Released

Announcing the release of my two-part megamodule, Demonspore!
Image

With 84 pages, 15 new monsters, a sinister shroomic plot, and a bizarre lair, I'm really proud of this one. I won't give any spoilers here (there is one on the ordering page), but this one will definitely challenge even the most experienced players. It's for level 3-6 and contains two modules in series: Throne of the Toad-King and Stone Cyst of the Shroom Priests. Stone Cyst is a stand-alone; Throne is technically a stand-alone but it contains so many hints and elements tying it to the second module that I decided they needed to be published together. Throne has four possible entrances so that it can be put anywhere from a direct surface entrance to a megadungeon plug-in. Stone Cyst could also be put anywhere, but it's a basic one-tunnel-entrance setup.

Enjoy!

Edit: It's a megamodule, not a megadungeon, although both modules could be attached to a megadungeon.

Sounds really cool. It'll definitely go in my Lulu cart for a future purchase.
The only problem is that if experienced players will really be challenged, what happens when you only have noobs like my players?

Congrats on another successful release Matt!

Disclosure of Bias: I did some art for this project. But forget that, because this megamodule would be stone cold awesome if it were hand-scrawled on coffee-stained, tobacco smoke-infused notebook paper. It's a great read and while I haven't had a chance to referee the thing, my DM-senses tell me that it would provide several highly entertaining game sessions. The module is filled with new creatures, select standard monsters utilized in novel and amusing ways, unique challenges and talk about your set-pieces! I congratulate Matt on his dungeon-mastery and heartily encourage all to throw down for a copy. I can't imagine you'll be disappointed.

As I mentioned in the module's Special thanks section, Jason's art made a couple of things that I'd been visually vague on really come to life. In particular, the picture of Karamantis the Mage and the picture of the flytrap shambler.
